Regional QAPI Director
Shannon was born and raised in North Louisiana before moving to Baton Rouge at the age of 18. She attended Louisiana State University and the Baton Rouge General School of Nursing, where she earned her Registered Nurse (RN) license in 1993. Today, Shannon resides in Denham Springs and is a proud mother to one daughter and grandmother to three precious grandchildren.
Shannon joined Bridgeway Hospice in October 2013 and has been a dedicated member of the team ever since. Her journey with Bridgeway began as an RN Case Manager, a role she truly loved because it allowed her to develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families during some of life's most challenging moments. Being able to support patients and caregivers while providing compassionate end-of-life care gave her a deep appreciation for the importance of hospice services and the impact they have on families.
Reflecting on her career growth, Shannon shares, "Although I miss caring for my patients and supporting their caregivers, I have discovered that I truly love guiding and mentoring our employees toward excellence. Knowing that, through encouragement and support, they can provide exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance and quality standards is incredibly rewarding."
Throughout her tenure at Bridgeway, Shannon has continued to grow as a leader. After serving as an RN Case Manager, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing. Today, she serves as the Regional Director of Quality Management, where she plays a vital role in ensuring clinical excellence across the organization. In this position, Shannon oversees quality assurance initiatives, audits clinical documentation, supports regulatory compliance, provides education and training to staff, and helps ensure the highest standards of patient care are consistently maintained.
Shannon's dedication to quality, leadership, and patient-centered care has made her an invaluable asset to Bridgeway Hospice. Her commitment to supporting both patients and employees continues to strengthen the organization's mission of providing compassionate, exceptional care.

"I love the awesome people I work with! The biggest hearts in town can be found right here at Bridgeway!! You have never met a more loving group of people – I am blessed to call them my Bridgeway Family! I wouldn't trade them for the world!"
