Bridgeway Healthcare and Hospice is a full service, licensed, and certified hospice company established in 2012. Bridgeway is unique in that it is locally owned and operated in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Plaquemine by a hospice nurse who has over 25 years of experience. Our team is committed to patient care, and they have an extraordinary passion for hospice.

Hospice Care is specialized care that can be referred to as palliative or comfort care. Hospice does not hasten death, yet offers a Bridgeway to comfort and dignity at the end of life. The care and service offered by Bridgeway is the treatment of symptoms associated with the hospice diagnosis with a focus on an overall improvement of quality of life. As one nears the end of life and modern medicine and treatment are no longer an option, our team can be there for you to provide comfort and companionship.

Our Mission

At Bridgeway Hospice, we are committed to creating moments that matter. We strive to be the hospice that provides individualized and personalized care to patients and their families during the end of life experience. It is our honor and privilege to continue to touch the lives of our patients and their families. Our commitment is to the community we serve, the healthcare professionals we employ, and the physicians and providers who believe in our hospice because of the professional and compassionate care provided.

Monetary Donation

The likelihood that hospice patients can't afford care is greater than you may think. Monetary donations are generous offerings that provide solutions to indigent patients and their families that don't have the means to pay for the hospice care they need.

Two Ways to Contribute to a Better Bridgeway

The opportunity to provide service as a hospice volunteer is rewarding, but the benefits for patients and family members are even greater. Most volunteers experience a sense of personal reward and growth once they have given their time and compassion to those in need.

Principles That Guide Bridgeway Hospice?

Being locally owned and operated, we are not willing to lose touch with that family feel. Employees are an important value to the care we provide. We share each other's victories and struggles and pass our love for each other on to the families we serve. With that being said, we hold each other accountable to advance in personal growth areas, to become people of strong character and integrity.
