Mackenzie McBride

Regional Administrative Coordinator

Mackenzie graduated from Baton Rouge Community College in 2020 with a Liberal Arts in Sciences degree and a minor in Music. She attended LSU for over three years where she was a part of the Golden Band from Tigerland and continued her education with BRCC, while maintaining a full-time position at Bridgeway Hospice.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, she was introduced to the hospice industry at a very young age as a Hospice Volunteer. With that being said, she has been going up the Bridgeway Ladder. She started as Medical Records, to Receptionist, to Admin. Coordinator, to being promoted as Regional Administrative Coordinator.  In her new position, Mackenzie’s role is to train all Administrative positions ranging from Medical Records to Human Resources to data entry and receptionist in all 3 locations. Her specialty is customer service and is a true people pleaser.

In her spare time, she strives for adventure and living life to the fullest with her spouse Chris & their newborn son, Mykah. She also continues to educate others on the vision of hospice will attending conferences. “Growing up in this industry is interesting. People always ask me ‘How do you do it?'. To be quite honest, this is the most honorable job I could ever dream of having. This is not meant to be a place of sadness, but it’s more a place to rejoice and have an appreciation for life, however long or short it may be.”  She has met many new people along her journey here at Bridgeway and considers this job a blessing.

“I appreciate every person for being a part of my life. At Bridgeway, we consider everyone our family and they truly are my family - my Bridgeway family.”
