As the Regional Intake Coordinator, Shannon is responsible for overseeing the beginning stages of coordinating new intake referrals for all locations. She also communicates with insurance companies and physician offices to retrieve medical records, hospice orders, and verify insurance information. Finally, Shannon gets to connect with the families by being able to educate and help them understand the admit process of starting a loved one on hospice. She is a wonderful employee and a shining star with Bridgeway.
